Biography
Bryan M. Street is a partner at Dawson Springman who focuses on oil and gas title matters and transactions. He prepares drilling, division order, leasehold, acquisition, and other oil and gas title opinions, as well as oil and gas contracts, mineral deeds, royalty deeds, and other conveyances of oil and gas interests. He is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico.
Bryan began his legal career as a title examiner at the Stubbeman law firm in Midland, in the heart of the Permian Basin. He lived and worked there for nearly eight years before moving to Fort Worth. Along the way, he built numerous friendships and a deep appreciation for the spirit and rugged individualism of the people who earn their living in the oil and gas industry.
After leaving Midland, Bryan established his own law firm. Running that practice meant wearing every hat, from janitor to managing member. He later joined Dawson Springman as an associate before becoming a partner.
Bryan brings an engineering background to his legal practice. Before earning his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, he earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Texas Tech and an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During his studies, he held internships with BP Amoco Oil Company and The Dow Chemical Company and research positions at both universities.
